Our School of Excellence Action Plan will be focused on improving aspects identified through community feedback. Your voice matters and will help us understand how to TAKE ACTION and improve our PTA programming to speak up for every child.

Welcome back Roadrunner families!!
My name is Kate Knerr and I am looking forward to being President of the fabulous RES PTA for the 23-24 school year. My son, Charlie, is going to be in third grade this year and I have two other sons who are in seventh grade at RMS next door. I have been involved with the PTA since 2016, and I can say getting to know the students, teachers and staff as a volunteer is such a rewarding experience. RES is a special community of passionate and innovative teachers and staff supported by involved parents. I am so grateful our kids get to benefit from being part of this community. Below are some highlights of programs the PTA plans to provide this year. Please take a look, save the dates for PTA meetings and send us an email at robiouselempta@gmail.com if you have questions about how to get involved. Please follow Robious Elementary School PTA on Facebook and Instagram to stay informed of current events and volunteer opportunities.
The best way to learn about all things PTA is to join PTBoard. This is where our PTA news is posted and all sign-ups for volunteering and donations are sent out. New to RES? Go to https://respta.ptboard.com/ and choose create an account and use registration code: XYAGED. Returning families DO NOT need to use a registration code. IMPORTANT!! After you create an account, please add your students to their classes. From the main menu on the left, click on “Student Directory”. Click on “My Student” then “Add a Student” and complete the information. Return to the main menu and click “Class & Group” then add your student(s) to their classes.
Check out some of the fun we have planned for this year (some dates could change):

In addition to volunteer opportunities, the RES PTA is proud to help fiscally support our staff with direct grants to classroom teachers and funding for each Resource teacher and DLI team. We are also excited to be able to help cover some costs of the new house system that is kicking off this fall. WE ARE five houses, WE ARE one crew, WE ARE a Roadrunner Family. Look for information on Facebook/Instagram and in the PTA newsletter on PTBoard about how to make a Direct Donation that is a one time payment made per family at your discretion. In addition, there will be multiple spirit nights at community businesses throughout the school year and we have some community partners. Look out for a flyer that lists tentative dates for all spirit nights (SAVE THE DATES!) and explains how to register with Kroger and other community partners. Starting in September any time you order Papa Johns between the 8th and 14th of every month, 20% will come back to support our programs.
Let’s have a great year!! Please consider getting involved as a volunteer – you won’t regret it!
Kate Knerr

When? Now through October 31
Goal - $8,000
The Robious Elementary School PTA has decided to hold utilize a Direct Donation Drive for our fundraising again this year. We will not ask you or your child to sell anything all year; instead the PTA is asking Robious Families to make an annual Tax-deductible donation.
100% of Your Direct Donation Stays at Robious!
You can make your tax-deductible online donation HERE. Please email robiouselempta@gmail.com if you would like information on how to mail your donation.
And don't forget about the matching program! RES PTA is a charitable 501c3 organization, and many employers will match your donation 100%. Check your employer's HR Page for more details.
Only registered members of the respta.ptboard community have access to the online directory with updated access codes issued each year. If you have previously registered with PTBoard, no new action is required on your part to use this site. If you are registering for the first time, use code XYAGED to connect to Robious. PTBoard is free to use.
This directory is for personal use only. We ask that you do not use it for business, political or other solicitation purposes.
**Please Note** Changes made to the student directory are not communicated to the school. If your contact information changes please be sure to contact the school office so they have accurate records. The same is true for changes made to the office. You must change your contact information with PTBoard AND the school front office separately.
Returning Families... If you are a returning family, your family information has rolled over from previous years however you must manually add your child to their new class for the 2023-2024 school year to be listed in the Directory. Your returning child has been removed from their previous class and you can now edit your listing with their new teacher assignment. If you have a Kindergarten student, you can add a child to the family at this time.
- To get started click on the "Student Directory" link on the left side of the website home page
- Click the green "Add/Manage My Student Directory" button at the top
- Click the green "Add a Student to Directory" button at the top
- Use the drop-down box under "Select a Student" to choose your child's name and add them to their new classroom for the year
- If needed, edit your family information that can be viewed by the public. At a minimum, we recommend adding a parent/guardian name and email so that other parents can reach out with party invites, etc.
New to the school? New families to the school are encouraged to join our Directory. How much information you share is up to you, but we encourage you to list your child's name and the name and email of a parent/guardian so that other parents can reach you with party invites, etc.
